	Nether Stowey is twinned with Theillay in a big loop of the Loire below Orleans. In 2008 the mutual twinning arrangement celebrated its 10^th anniversary. Nether Stowey Parish Council were also involved in the twinning weekend when a party of some 50 French visitors and friends stayed in Nether Stowey and a wide range of community events, extending well beyond the normal twinning activities, were held. This included road closure in the village centre and a day-long street market.
	Michael Barry of Somerset Screen Productions has produced a set of four interactive DVDs of the weekend. They cover all the main events and include as much footage of French and English participants as possible. Some French photos and movies prior to their arrival are also included.
	Some 5 camera crews and 4 roving interviewers covered all events between them, and met as many people and talked to as many experts in local subjects as they could.
